I am Hrishikesh, working with JUSCO (A TATA Enterprise), as a manager in water distribution. My main responsibilities includes Water management in distribution by implementing water demand management strategies. I am responsible for reducing overall water losses in water distribution.  

Earlier I have worked with TERI, New Delhi for more than 2.5 years. I have good  research/consulting experience in projects with specific focus on Remote Sensing, GIS and hydrological modeling, water auditing and watershed management in a multinational NGO. My prime responsibility is watershed modeling including groundwater using RS and GIS.

I was the project leader for an integrated watershed management program (DROP project). My main responsibility is to understand the geology and identify the locations for construction of recharge structures. For this I have carried out extensive studies (geo-mophological, geological and geophysical) and used GIS (geo-statistics) to generate the movement of groundwater in the watershed. I have also developed database for entire watershed and converting it to Watershed Information System.

Being a project leader, I have been monitoring and managing the various activities in the project like time and financial management, and giving presentations and developing networks with government and private organizations for successful implementation of the project.

I have also worked in various kinds of images like arial photographs, IRS, Landsat, SPOT, ERS and Aster using ERDAS, ARC GIS, ENVI and ILWIS software for image processing and analysis in GIS framework. 

I have pursued Masters in Geoinformation with A Grade from University of Paris 6, France. During my course I had undergone training in Alcatel Space Industries, Toulouse, France, where I have carried out flood modeling using HEC RAS and ARC VIEW GIS.  I have also done M.Tech in Remote sensing and GIS (Application in Water Resources) from IIRS Dehradun with A+ Grade. As a part of M. Tech Project, I have been involved in live project from DOS (Dept of Space) titled Hydrological Modeling of Beas River Basin.

My bachelor is in field of Environmental Engineering from India. My main projects in BE was to design water treatment plant for a city and assess the performance of existing common effluent treatment plant for group of industries. This also includes design and estimation.
